FAQ
To access Whois domain name records, simply go to the search bar back at the top of this page and type in the domain name you wish to obtain public information about.
You can scroll through the search results to find all contact information pertaining to the queried domain name. The contact information falls into four categories: registrant, admin, tech and billing. You’ll also gain access to the name of the Registry managing the domain name extension, the name of the Registrar the domain name is currently registered with and its nameservers list.
Please keep in mind that though what is listed above is usually true, results returned by queries may vary. There are two reasons for this. First, each Registry has its own rules regarding what information is filed in Whois. But Whois privacy services and GDPR regulations, both aiming for domain holder privacy protection, are also becoming more and more common.
Update time depends on the Registry. Some operations are automated and therefore very quick. Manual operations however are the slowest to be completed.
As an example: Verisign updates Whois in real time.

Unlike Registry and Registrar names, data referring to web hosting providers is not recorded in the Whois database.
It is however possible to gather that information from the list of nameservers.
All you have to do is type the relevant domain name in the search bar back at the top of this page.
All domain related contact information will be listed as follows: registrant, admin, tech, billing.
Sometimes, for certain geographical extensions, Whois data is not available. According to the GDPR or because of the use of anonymous Whois services, all or part of the Whois data may be masked.
There are procedures for removing anonymity, which can be initiated directly with the Registry or within the framework of extra-judicial procedures such as SYRELI, ADR, UDRP...
Browse through Whois search results until you come across a line beginning with the word "Created", "Registration date", "Creation date", and there you have it!
The search result and its format will depend on the extension.
